This has to be my favorite deal today. Right now Bath & Body Works has several signature items on sale, BOGO (online only)!

When you combine these two offers, you get 2 FREE full size B&B products! All you pay is $6.41 for shipping and tax. I was also able to use this code on two separate purchases.
So I am happy to report I ordered 2 bottles of Twisted Peppermint, 1 bottle of Sweet Honey Suckle and 1 bottle of Brown Sugar and Fig for only $12.82. Considering ordering 2 more. These will make great additions to gifts for the family!
My breakdown per order is below. Be sure to order yours tonight by 11:59 pm because the deal will be over! Think about it, it's like buying 1 and getting 3 free.
UPS My Choice...Holiday Heroes!
I love shopping online! Really, I do. One year I did absolutely 100% of my Christmas shopping online. I love picking out items from the comfort of my own home. Not to mention, I can usually find deals not available in the store and I get free shipping (to me and to return if needed).
Shopping at home just got a bazillion times better thanks to UPS My Choice. I am labeling them as the Holiday Heroes this season. You can sign up today to control where your package is going, when it will be dropped off and even schedule it to be left when you are not home to sign for it! Wow. The service is FREE of course which makes it even better.
If you already use the UPS My Choice service please share your experience so far! I can't wait to use it because I always miss my package. Number one thing on my list the year, to make sure all my packages can be left with no signature.
Menu Planning Made Easy...Food on the Table!
We all need a little help meal planning! Food on the Table is exactly what you need. It is a free service that allows you to plan meals around sales ad's. The stores are currently based only in North Carolina however the feature popular stores like Kroger, Food Lion, Super Target and Save-A-Lot where there are national chains in the US and ads are pretty similar.
It is fun to use and you can even specify what ingredients your family does and does not like. It's free if you use Food on the Table for 3 meals a week or less. If you would like to use this planning system for 3 meals or more a week, than you can upgrade to a premium version of the program for only $5 a month. This is an amazing deal.

We're on our way...
Flying
Many of us love the convenience of flying but hate the prices, especially this time of year because the prices just keep rising. Use these tips to wrap up your last minute plans without loosing an arm and leg.
- Be Flexible - Fly on a day that isn't as popular as let's say a Saturday. Off days, usually Sunday-Wednesday or usually less expensive then flying Thursday-Saturday. When looking at flight rates try playing with different dates to see if the price changes any. You could also consider flying on the holiday itself. Most people are spending the full day with their family and friends so rates can be marked down to encourage holiday travel.
- Take a Detour - Everyone enjoys a non-stop flight, including the airlines and they ensure you pay for the convenience Book flights that have a layover or two to avoid excessive ticket prices.
- Double Time - Instead of using one airline and booking a round trip, use two different airlines and purchase one way tickets for each. Many airlines are offering great deals for one way tickets this time of year. By flying Delta one way and AirTran another you could see savings of $100 or more per ticket.
- 24 Hour Rule - Take advantage of the 24 hour rule that most major airlines have in place. The 24 hour rule allows you to purchase your ticket and receive a refund within 24 hours if you decide to cancel. Use to your advantage by checking a similar flight again (same airline) just a few hours later, if the rate has dropped, cancel your current ticket and purchase the cheaper one. Just be sure that the airline you select has this type of policy before trying to attempt this one :)
- Seek and Find - Check more than one site. You can check the airlines corporate site, for example www.delta.com or you can search an engine like www.expedia.com. Search different sites, even on different days if your not rushing, to find better deals.
- The Scenic Route - A long drive in a car that is a little rusty is no fun. Consider taking a bus. While the drive is still long, you have the convenience of a bathroom and comfortable seats. Not to mention you can sleep, access Wi-Fi and enjoy a movie.
- Pinch your Pennies - While the Greyhound is the most popular travel bus around, check out this site I was recently introduced to, www.megabus.com. You can ride the bus in some cases for just $1. Yes, it is true. You can for example travel from Mobile, AL to Atlanta, GA round trip for $2 per person this holiday. Of course prices will vary but isn't that amazing! You will need to rent a car or rely on family or friends to help you out once you get to your vacation spot but the travel is so cheap!
- Plan Ahead - By planning ahead you can enjoy a wonderful trip, driving to your location. Plan in advance by ensuring your car is up to par for the drive. Make sure you get a full check up on it to avoid any breakdowns on the road. Towing and service fees can put a huge damper on your family's holiday fun.
- Again, Enjoy the Scenery - Instead of jumping in the car and hauling to get to Grandma's house, plan for a little bit of leisure. Research some fun family places to stop and visit on your way there and back. This will break up the trip, allow everyone to stretch, enhance moods and you make memories. Pick a restarunt you have always wanted to try or maybe go on a nature walk off the beaten bath.
- Snack Attack - Pack your snacks! Avoid spending $20 at each gas station stop when you refuel by having the family pack a goodie bag of their favorite snacks. Ensure everyone has a bottle of water too. Along with the snacks, pack fun activities for the kids to do. While video games are fun they can give kids headaches on the drive after staring at them to long so be sure you bring other things too.

The 411 on Clipping & Organizing
The most frustrating part of couponing is clipping and organizing, am I right?
Most individuals decide to pass up on the savings because they feel that they do not have the time.
For those of us who decide to pursue this money saving hobby, we spend our time trying to master the madness. Here are a few tips to get you started.
Get Organized
Why don't you clean up that stack of coupons sitting on the counter? Yes. I am talking about you! Isn't that where your inserts end up? Instead of letting them take up counter space until they expire, put them away. Pick an organizing method to make sure your coupons are available at a whim. The most common methods of organizing are:
Check File - This is how I first started organizing my coupons. It is compact and easily portable from your house, to your car and into the store. Check files can be found at Target or Walmart for around $3.
Binder - Use baseball card holders to organize your coupons. Be sure you store them in a zippered binder so they don't fall out, just in case you drop it. This method is great for quick access when you find those unexpected and unplanned deals.
File Box - Purchase a hard case file box (usually $10 at Walmart) to store your inserts. You will use hanging files to separate your inserts. This my current method (blended with the check file). I organize by insert (RP, SS, PG, Extra i.e. General Mills, Publix, Other Store) and date the front of the insert with a sharpie. While they are not clipped, they are there for easy access.
*I recommend finding a place to store your coupons when your not clipping, organizing or preparing. I store mine in a box under a chair in my room. I love coupons and my hubby loves the savings but we can't stand the clutter that it can sometimes bring.
Prepare for your Trip
Winging it can cause families to overspend and forget items. What can you do before heading out to the store to make this easier.?
Budget - Determine your shopping budget. I recommend setting a "before coupon" budget so that in case you have items to pick up that you forgot to put on your grocery list you can snag them without overspending. Also, when you spend under what is budgeted you fell great! Put that "extra" grocery money into a savings account or put it towards a night out with the hubby or family.
Meal Plan - Scan the weekly sales ad for your preferred store and plan your meals off sale items. Doing this will allow you to maximize your savings and will help you make sure you don't forget any ingredients.
Make a List - The most harmful thing anyone can do is walk into a store without a list. Whether you prefer a good handwritten list or the more modern iPhone (I recommend the FREE Grocery IQ app), noting items needed ahead of time will make your shopping trip smoother and will help you make sure you don't have to make any last minute runs for that forgotten ingredient. It is not enough to make the list but make sure it is with you. I usually put my handwritten lists in the envelope or check file with my coupons to ensure I have it with me.
Accept Help - Use a coupon match up site. There are so many now! Most stores have a blog that will match coupons to the sale items that week. For example, www.iheartpublix.com or www.totallytarget.com. Using these sites elimates the need for clipping because they tell you what insert the coupon is in. For example, $1/1 Kraft Cheese Product in the SS from 11/6 (Exp. 1/6).
Scan your coupons/inserts - I recommend scanning your coupons or inserts for any items you may need. If you forget to scan you will probably forget a coupon that could have saved you some pretty pennies. While coupon match-ups are nice, they don't keep track of your inventory. You may have a coupon, from a tear pad, that was mailed to you or that a friend gave to you that they didn't know about. Also be sure to scan competitor or store websites for any last minute coupons that you would like to use.
Don't Forget the Coupons - It seems easy enough but often individuals forget their coupons. This is why I hybrid my organizing method with the check file. It is understandable that most do not want to carry around a binder or file box all day, so when I find coupons I know I will use on my next trip, they automatically go into my check file (or an envelope) and into my purse. That way I always have them with me.
*I recommend sticking to one store for the majority of your items. I don't have time to travel to 6 different stores each week to snag the best deals so sometimes I do buy an item that is not on sale and that I don't have a coupon for. Remember most sales cycle every 6-8 weeks. If it is an item that goes on sale more often then not, try to wait.

A-Z, Please send some to me...Letters I and J
Today's letters are I and J
Click on the company's name to access their "contact us" form to give them a compliment and request a coupon or two!
Ian's - Natural foods never tasted so good! Available at Publix, these guys know how to impress your tongue. Enjoy a wide variety of Ian's products...anything from Cinnamon Cookie Snacks to Breadcrumbs to Chicken Tenders, you won't be disappointed.
J&J Snack Foods - I love those frozen pretzels! I have been addicted since I was a kid and nothing tops these for an after school snack. Last time I requested coupons from J&J I received a stack with no expiration date. You may just end up with a freebie too!
Johnsonville - Whether you need a quick breakfast or fast dinner Johnsonville is a great place to start. Their reasonably priced sausage products often go on sale making these tasty items a cheap way to start or wrap up the perfect day.
I also wanted to leave you with a few "nuggets" of knowledge to ensure your getting off on the right foot!
- Usually coupons that are directly mailed by the manufacturer to you have a longer amount of time before they expire (like 3 or 6 months, sometimes even a year).
- Keep in mind you want to use any coupons you receive when the item goes on sale. This will maximize your savings when purchasing lunch products for the family.
- Not all of these manufacturer's will respond the way you want. Some may mail your a good handful of coupons, some one and some none. Some may point you to a Facebook page instead but it is always worth a shot.
- Be thankful! Manufacturer's do not have to offer coupons to consumers, they do to remain competitive. Anytime you receive a coupon from a manufacturer it shows a little insight into their character.

Rebates = Savings
Every couponer will tell you that couponing saves you money. However, you usually won't hear a couponer say that rebates save you money. While, rebates will not save you instant money, in turn giving you instant gratification, you will in the long run save money.
Rebates allow an individual to purchase a product and request reimburstment. The maufacturer of the product will usually provide you with a form to fill out return to them along with the proof of purchase (a receipt or piece of the label containing the barcode). There is usually a 4-8 week time frame in which the company processes your rebate and then mails you a check for the cost of the item.
Not many people want to spend the time to fill out the rebate form and then mail them in however these rebate checks are perfect to deposit directly into a savings account. $3 here and there may not seem like a lot but continue depositing these into a savings account and see your fund continue to grow.
Rebates are turning up left and right with the holidays right around the corner. I have included some links for common items purchased that have rebates available right now. I will keep you posted on more to come.
Progresso Rich and Hearty Soup
Lysol Cleaning Wipes

two!Garden of Eatin' - Need some healthy chips for your kiddo's lunch or a great, healthy, natural snack for those football parties and holiday gatherings with the family? Then you have found it in the Garden of Eatin' snacks. The colors are so fun for kids to pull out and dip. The dark bluish purple chips are perfect for the fall.
Glad - Everyone needs plastic snack bags! The great thing is these days they come in all sorts of sizes and are perfect for packing sandwiches, snacks or even freezing your leftover dinners. Send Glad a nice email and hopefully they will send you come coupons for these very expensive essentials.
Healthy Choice - These may not be what your kids want to eat for lunch but I know you will enjoy these frozen lunches. They are easy to pop in at work and our perfect when you are worn out on the turkey subs. Not to mention they are quick for those on the go...yes, I know you hit the snooze button as much as I do!
Hostess - Need an afternoon snack, maybe bread for your son or daughters favorite PB&J sandwich. Look no further. Contact Hostess and request some sweet coupons to be mailed to you. Maybe you will get lucky and receive a freebie. I love those.
I also wanted t leave you with a few "nuggets" of knowledge to ensure your getting off on the right foot!

Football Food Fav!
Jalapeno Chicken Scoops
Ingredients
1 large can shredded chicken
1 14 oz can of sliced Jalapeno peppers
1 small onion chopped
1 8 oz container softened cream cheese
Tony's Seasoning Salt
1 bag Tostitos Scoops
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is pre-heating, mix chicken, onion and cream cheese in a bowl. When mixed well start adding Tony's Seasoning Salt by the tablespoon until you get the desired flavor. I typically shake it in until I think it adds enough color but this might be too strong for you :) Take the mixture and start adding it by the tablespoon to each individual scoop chip. Place each stuffed scoop on a baking sheet. When the baking sheet is full, add a Jalapeno to each one. Then pop these in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until they are bubbly. Let stand for a minute and serve. These are AMAZING and easy to pop back in the oven and reheat without ruining them.

A-Z, Please send some to me...Letter F!
Today's letter is F...
Click on the company's name to access their "contact us" form to give them a compliment and request a coupon or two!Farm Rich - This company happens to make Nate's favorite food...mozzarella sticks! He would have a straight diet of these fried appetizers if we would let him. While I don't suggest packing these as a lunch, these are handy to keep in the house for after school snacks!
Fisher Boy - I would have never contacted this company if it wasn't for Couponing to Disney., she puts up a great 5 A Day (5 vendors a day to email). These are only available at our local Winn-Dixie's and Wal-Mart's but these are pretty good. These fish sticks are great for Nate to eat at lunch. I pack him a little to-go corn cup and we are all set.
Florida's Natural - Um, yes this is a breakfast coupon really. Who doesn't love orange juice? Remember, we discussed breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and setting your little one down (maybe yourself too) with a glass of this tasty OJ will give them tons of health benefits. Even better, serve it with a straw to avoid the acid eating away enamel on their little teeth.
Bonus: Frito Lay - a year ago this company racked me up on multi-use coupons for $1/1 item. I am hoping they will do this again. Not only are their chips great for lunch sandwiches companionship but also as an afternoon snack or for FOOTBALL PARTIES :) Stay tuned because I have the tastiest recipe for you to make tomorrow and yes, it will include Tostitos scoops.

The possibilities are limitless and you won' feel guilty letting them snack on these! Send Earths Best a nice email and see what you get in return.
Egglands Best - Eggs are a great way for you and the kiddos to start your morning! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it is important to support your kids. Even if you don't eat breakfast, be sure to feed them because this meal will keep the focused and motivated all day long. Do you need a quick breakfast for the family on the go? Crack an egg or two in a coffee mug, add a splash of milk, salt and pepper and microwave on high for about 45 seconds. Remove egg, stir, top with some shredded cheese and pop back in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Viola! You have breakfast! Hope to get some good coupons to use, Publix always has these BOGO or 2/$4.
Eggo - Contacting Kelloggs for coupons may be a hit or miss BUT these waffles are to good and it is worth a try. These are perfect with butter and syrup but to switch it up top them with peanut butter and honey and serve with a banana. These make the perfect morning snack when they are cut into squares and tossed with fresh sliced strawberries and blueberries.
